RAMADAN PROGRAMS

During Ramadan there has been various programs for grade 5 & 6 pastoral care girls.

During Term 2, on a Saturday & Sunday, grade 6 girls had a weekend reading program. During both days, students competed by reading books, played engaging and fun games and went out for Iftar at nights. Ms. Seyma hosted the Iftar at her house on Saturday and we went to Nando’s for Iftar on Sunday. We thank Ms. Seyma for the lovely food. On Sunday, grade 5 girls also joined the program. Students enjoyed each other’s company on the weekend and spent both worthwhile and fun time together with their friends. The winner of the reading competition was Seyma from grade 5s, with 147 pages and Tuana from grade 6s, with 172 pages. Well done to our winners and great effort to all those who participated.

During the holidays, grade 5 and 6 girls also had iftar at their friend’s houses. Our first Iftar was at Raquel’s house, second Iftar was at Dilara & Tuana’s house, our third iftar was at Seyma’s house and our final Iftar was at Sheniz & Canan’s house. Students enjoyed delicious food, had important discussions about Ramadan and had valuable time together with their friends at all the Iftars. Pastoral care department thanks those who opened their houses generously during this blessed month. May Allah accept your generosity and good intentions.
